**About Us**

Wanderers’ Haven is a Guild Wars 2 guild based in the EU, with the primary aim of creating a safe, relaxed and friendly space for LGBTQ+ players and allies to come together, socialise, take part in group activities, and seek/share advice; a space where everyone is treated with respect and feel they can be themselves.

 

 

**Current Members and Our Recruitment Plans**

Wanderers’ Haven was created very recently (October 2020) by a handful of friends and has attracted a few more members organically. We have never advertised our guild until now, as we wanted to get a few things in order first. As such, we are still a small guild, but we are hoping to grow in the coming weeks/months. Our current members are welcoming, helpful and enthusiastic, and share a range of experience levels from very new to the game to highly experienced. Some of us have plenty of experience leading/running guilds currently and in the past, in and outside of Guild Wars 2. We are mostly based in the UK as most of us met through a UK-based server, but we expect this to change as we grow. We are aware that many guilds are quite male-centric, so we welcome female and other non-male gamers to join us and help us become as diverse as we can be.

 

 

**Server/Region**

Currently, most of us happen to be on Piken Square (EU), but servers no longer matter outside WvW content.

 

 

**Guild Hall**

We chose Windswept Haven as our home and have already upgraded it to level 27, just three months after the guild’s creation, and intend to continue upgrading for more perks and benefits.

 

 

**Activities and Plans for the Future**

We have been running weekly guild missions since the beginning, and our fractals (high and low tiers) and world/meta events have just become regular weekly events. We intend to add strike missions, [and possibly raids] to our list of regular activities in due course, and always welcome member feedback on what you would like us to do! Currently, Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons are our activity days, but these may change depending on availability or feedback.

 

 

**What We Expect from You**

* There is no level/gear/gameplay/experience/region/server requirement, and you may choose to take part in our activities if you wish to do so. Just have fun and be nice and respectful to others!

* You need to be 18 or over. Though our guild is a strictly SFW space.

* You need to identify as LGBTQ+ in order to join us. If not, provide a reason for wanting to join an LGBTQ+ guild, as we are here to serve a marginalised community and the comfort and wellbeing of our LGBTQ+ members is our highest priority.

* Use of Discord is essential. You do not need to be an expert Discord user, but it is our primary means of communication with our members (text and voice chat) and where we post announcements and events. Our rules are also found there, which you would need to read carefully and agree to, before being given access to any other part of the server/guild.

* While in game, show your commitment to the guild by representing us.
