Can we please get an update to the Mystic Forge? Simple quality of life change?

Can you have it not deselect items when mystic forging if those items still exist? Say we're MFing stacks of sigils or runes can you just leave those items default selected so we can avoid repeated stress injury?

You don’t. You can place 4 items in the forge and click ‘forge’ with that box still up.

Part of the reason some things are still worth forging is that it's a pain to forge. Make it easier and the 'barrier' to casual combining is cancelled, which means more people will do it, increasing the supply and (without a commensurate increase in demand) decreasing the the market price.

 

For Mystic Clover, that seems reasonable (although there are plenty of alternatives already). For the OP's example of stacks of sigils or runes, it would probably destroy the financial incentive entirely.

 

Still there are other QoL changes that could be made: bulk rare material promotion. Current, things like converting cores to lodestones can only be done one unit at a time. Since most uses (outside of runes & sigils) require multiple units, it would be helpful to allow us manage 10 or even 50 units at a time. This would also hurt the markets, but there's more wiggle room here, so it could result in increasing the value of lower-tier items.
