Performance issues.

I was having frame rate problems for awhile which I believed was attributed to GW2Hook, I found after deleting it I still have problems when I didn't have them before during HoT. This afternoon I was doing a story instance when roughly once a minute the game would turn into a slide show because of the farm rate, this became rampant during a boss fight until everything froze after reaching Kormirs Temple, I noticed after everything freezing my mouse cursor started moving very slowly. I had to do a hard restart because I couldn't alt tab or ctrl alt del.

 

Got irritated and logged into a more popular less demanding game.

 

I would like to fix this and come back.

I had similar issues on my laptop. Discovered something was hammering my HDD, pinning it at 100% usage causing horrible frame rates (Like 1 frame every 5 seconds). Once the HDD cleared up, it was back to normal. Not sure what it was, but I assume something to do with some Windows update.
