It's about time to add a new map and perhaps make links permanent.

Constantly changing linked servers is a pain, it's time to either drop that idea or merge 2 servers permanently.

 

If we merge permanently, it's time to add a new map to standard WvW to alleviate queues.

A temporary solution to this would be to add a copy of the EotM map to standard WvW, where holding towers and keeps will play similar to how the current maps are played and not as a farm like EotM is currently. Earning pips and the map counting towards server score is important.

 

I say the EotM map is a temporary solution because I feel like a fair chunk of WvWers dislike that map and I feel like making a new map would add some freshness to the mode and be a big step towards a more vast WvW experience. Though players might like the EotM map better playing as a server instead of playing with randoms.

 

It's also important that we get a third borderlands map as the mode feels incomplete without it.
