Today while playing on a PC that has been running GW2 smoothly for a long time, I had a massive drop in framerate all of a sudden. I then logged off and restarted the computer. When trying to get back into the game, I now always receive the following error message.

*--> Crash <--*

Assertion: numTexCoords <= D3DVSDE_TEXCOORD_MAX

Any ideas? Thank you!

Is your GPU driver also up-to-date? Are you accidentally using your CPU's graphics card rather than your actual card?

Yes - I have a AMD FX8320, with the latest Radeon 20.10.1

The second question is harder to answer - not sure how I can tell. I did try again to delete and reinstall with no success.

I can also start and play other games through EPIC, card is working.

Are you using your CPU's integrated graphics card or do you have a PCI-e card installed?
