Ranger Pet Pigs

Why do all the pigs seem to have the exact same set of skills? I know it may be hard to come up with different skills but...scavenge for...?

All the other pet families are identical except for slight differences in their F2 skills. For example the moas all have a screech skill, which is a cone AoE causing a condition or buff. It's only the effect which changes (protection, fury, daze or chill). Likewise the birds all have a slash attack, which bleeds (hawk and eagle both have this), blinds or chills the enemy.

 

The pigs are the same, it's just a more subtle difference. The skill is the same but the items they can find are different for each one:
