Is there anything cool stuff that i can grind? Vendors won't really sell anything and all cool weapons are from raids.

Grind for the map currency to buy a tome to there so your other characters can also grind to buy an instance node to give map currency?

 

At least they have fixed the 'no meta events' issue. Just after the last maps sold ascended trinkets with the map currency they now have a high bar on what they can sell.

They should indeed reduce the amount of unidentified gear dropped ( at first i though i had been only lucky, but if you say so... ).

You could also start doing the branded meteor things close to the astralarium, if you are interested in the astral and stellar weapons, since they will require a lot of mats from those meteorites to craft.

The metas are very rewarding, plus karmic retribution is 100% drop from every kill, so it is great for karma if you invest in it

Got to do the paladawan meta event last night and had a blast. I was very confident even after the initial complaints of lack of map wide meta events that anet would have added something in one of the new living story maps and I'm thankful they did!
