Ascended Crafting

I've hit a problem crafting an ascended longbow. I am sure this didn't happen before (I have crafted several ascended pieces but not for a while.) When I try to craft ascended components eg Spool of Thick Elonian Cord even though I have enough sub-components to craft 3 it will only let me craft 1 a day - I am sure it used to be one attempt per day (ie as many as you could create on one go using the craft all button).

Is this a change, am I mis-remembering or is it a bug?

There are only certain items that are one a day. Lump of Mithrilium, Glob of Elder Spirit Residue, Spool of Thick Elonian Cord, and Spool of Silk Weaving are all limited to 1 per day. The other ascended mats you can craft as many as you want.

do you have a level 80 guardian? You can get an ascended longbow Ydalir really quick. Its one of the specialization collections achievements

No I have a level 80 Ranger, Thief and Necro...just working on the Guardian now (Level 35).

Thanks for the reply. Just my luck I need several Spools of Thick Elonian Cord and Globs of Elder Spirit Residue. I will just have to be patient :)

You can get around the time gate by buying it on the TP. The time gated item is account bound, but the item crafted next usually isn't. E.g. you can't buy Globs of elder spirit residue, but you can buy Spiritwood planks.
