Update keeps starting and stopping

I'm Trying to update gw2 after coming back from a month or so leave the launcher will go all the way up to max speed then down to 0kb/s for 5 minutes then back up for a second then 0 kb/s

Update now when it goes to 0kb/s nothing shows up just percentage then it starts for a few seconds just all off and on

I would suggest locating the gw2.dat file (standard location would be C:\Program Files\Guild Wars 2) and renaming it to gw2_old.dat

Now reboot the game. If it is downloading the game normally, you had an issue with a ccorrupted dat-file. You need to download the entire game again, but then it should be fine. If you still have issues, don't be afraid to let me and others know here.

I fixed the issue what i had done was copied the game from my laptop to my desktop using a flash drive and decided to just run the game off my flash drive due to lack of space on my hdd decided it may be an issue so i made space copied to my HDD and its updating perfectly fine
