Artorous.8573 Posted December 8, 2017 Share Posted December 8, 2017 I posted this in the bugs forum by mistake and figured I'd post it here as well. I tried running Malwayrebytes to see if the other selection would work but it's still doing the same thing. Original Post: I have been trying to re-install this game for 2 weeks now and it continuously gives me the same stupid "A Serious Error Has Occurred" message. I've tried every single "fix" that I've found online but nothing has worked. I know this PC can handle it as I played on this very PC when it was released and it worked perfectly fine but now that I want to pick it back up again I can't even get it to install past 40%. If someone can give me a fix that actually works that would be fantastic. I know my PC isn't the best but my computer specs are: OS - Windows 10 64bit Processor - Intel Core i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz Ram - 12.0 GB Crash Information is: --> Crash <-- Exception: c0000005 Memory at address 00000000`00000008 could not be read App: Gw2-64.exe Pid: 8360 Cmdline: BaseAddr: 00007FF737C00000 ProgramId: 101 Build: 84555 Module: plsapp64.dll When: 2017-12-08T19:24:20Z 2017-12-08T14:24:20-05:00 Uptime: 0 days 0:07:52 Flags: 0 --> System <-- Name: CIVILIZATION-PC Processors: 4 [GenuineIntel:6:10:9] OSVersion: Windows 10.0 (64 bit) --> System Memory <-- Physical: 7815MB/12248MB 63% Paged: 18496MB/24536MB 75% Virtual: 134217362MB/134217727MB 3% Load: 36% CommitTotal: 6039MB CommitLimit: 24536MB CommitPeak: 8075MB SystemCache: 7982MB HandleCount: 90873 ProcessCount: 216 ThreadCount: 2875 --> Process Memory <-- Private: 149MB WorkingSet: 163MB PeakWorkingSet: 215MB PageFaults: 18037809 --> Memory Category Usage (Inclusive) <-- [Category] [size(MB)] [Count] Root 114.56 7369 Programmer Data 65.88 1338 Collections 58.15 415 Uncategorized 42.23 5276 Set 32.01 171 Dictionary 26.09 44 I/O 7.31 683 Collide Havok 6.45 755 Collide 6.45 755 Archive 4.44 245 Asset Service 1.63 421 File Service 1.24 12 Networking 0.17 29 UI 0.11 105 Web Browser 0.11 91 Event 0.07 2 Game 0.04 55 Engine 0.02 12 Content 0.02 1 Threading 0.01 15 Model-Programmer 0.01 1 BTree 0.00 6 CharClient 0.00 5 Services 0.00 8 --> Memory Category Usage (Exclusive) <-- [Category] [size(MB)] [Count] Uncategorized 42.23 5276 Set 32.01 171 Dictionary 26.09 44 Collide Havok 6.45 755 Archive 4.44 245 Asset Service 1.63 421 File Service 1.24 12 Networking 0.17 24 Web Browser 0.11 91 Event 0.07 2 Collections 0.05 194 Game 0.02 45 Content 0.02 1 Threading 0.01 15 Model-Programmer 0.01 1 Engine 0.01 6 BTree 0.00 6 CharClient 0.00 5 Services 0.00 8 File Core 0.00 2 Text 0.00 1 Download 0.00 3 UI 0.00 14 Programmer Data 0.00 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Healix.5819 Posted December 8, 2017 Share Posted December 8, 2017 In short, plsapp64.dll is interfering and causing the crash. A quick google says it's PureLeads by Sendori, and classified as adware. You'll need to first remove it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
