I just wanted to say how much I love this little "riddle"/mini game/whatever you want to call it. You just stumble across them, and when you discover them, it adds nicely to the region's armosphere.

 

The GW2 world needs more of those. **Plenty more**. <3

I love it too, I spent so much time messing around with it when I first found it - I was determined to work it out without a guide even though I'm not great at puzzles like that. There are a few other things like that in the game. Some are very simple like the door in Queensdale you have to /threaten to get through, and at the other extreme some of the mini dungeons are basically giant puzzles.

 

But I agree it would be nice to have more, hopefully PoF maps will include some things like this.

Wait, what? Where?? =) The one in the bandit cave can't be it. Maybe the one at Caudecus' Manor? (No, just tried that one, that's not it.) Tell me! :)

Remember the heart quest where you need to persuade the Ettins to attack the nearby centaur camp (the one with the hero point in it)? There is a closed cavern where the Ettins are. You need to stand in front of the door and /threaten in order to open it. There is a veteran troll and a chest (or was it a mining node? I don't remember) inside.
