Melee class is engi, reve, thief, sb..... why does warrior and its elites exist in gw2 ? What mod of game they are wanted for? What is its role in gw2 ?

the devs have no plan. And what classes bring to the table and what is meta was and is still purely random. Their "balance" is just patchwork here and there every now and then.

They seem to listen sometimes to cries on the forum and start nerfing or buffing completely random things because they have absolutely no clue which builds are strong and which are weak.

They need ages for gamebreaking changes that should have been done the minute they were being used (chrono distort to skip mechanics) and they have no idea what to do with those overpowered specs like chrono and druid (in raids for example). The last big chrono nerf was responsible that you then needed 2 chronos instead of just 1 for the raid squad, and today with the nerf to grace of the land we may need two druids aswell again.

Banners of warriors affect 10 people now instead of 5, they did that so that not every warrior in raids had to use double banner. Look were we are now :D.

It's comepletely random and lacks any plan for the future, just patchwork that often even backfires.

No one is asking you to not think ... on the contrary, if people did MORE thinking, they would see what I'm talking about. Anet didn't sit at a table and ask themselves why they needed a warrior when they created the game .. or any other class for that matter. They added the warrior because it's a class theme people are familiar with. It's not there as a technical requirement; it's there as a conceptual theme. How about you try and think about THAT.

Warriors are nearly unstopable in spvp...

Banner Slaves are wanted everywhere.

Your dps spec is also quite respectable as well.

Please try to be a little objective here because anet might actually listen to you and do terrible terrible things to the game

Hey I've got Arena Net's description of the warrior, turns out it's pretty easy to find.

"Warriors are masters of weaponry who rely on speed, strength, toughness, and heavy armor to survive in battle. Adrenaline fuels their offensive power—the longer warriors stay in a fight, the more dangerous they become."

Glad I could be of help OP.
