Taelac.7036 Posted January 8, 2018 Share Posted January 8, 2018 If you mean the Lunar New Year festival, that won't likely begin for another 1-3 weeks, based off past start dates and the date that its real-world inspiration falls this year. Then I was reminded that GW2 doesn't have a solar new year, only a lunar new year (Wintersday is so big and everyone's on vacation, so having another festival immediately after it wouldn't be a good idea). So the lunar new year starts sometime between January 20 and February 20. This year it falls on February 16, and 2018 is going to be the year of the dog.
