reading the forums is far different than it is to post type of reply or make a post on something in said forums . and yes we do not know who does or does not read the forums at all . even if your logged into the forums still no idea till that poster makes a post or reply's to a said post at the very best that is all their is. also not only that but if one looked all over the forums they would very easy find how many and often anet devs post to this forums

And there are probably business reasons for why they don't post very often. They probably don't want to be held liable for any statements that they might make that then don't come to fruition. There could be additional legal ramifications which might very well preclude them from posting except in the most urgent of circumstances. Heck, they might even need a supervisor's approval before they post to ensure that they aren't posting something that is incorrect or might be misconstrued. The only fact is that we don't know.

 

That doesn't mean that they haven't read the community's thoughts and/or concerns. It also doesn't mean that they have. My point is that we don't really know the circumstances under which the devs read/post to the "official" forum so we really have no right to demand they do so or whine when they don't.
