tankrd.1890
I’ve tried several times to enable vsync and after restarting the game vsync gets turned off. Anyone know if another setting is turning it off or is there a work around? I run full screen borderless mode as I have two monitors and I’m also using the 64 bit client. Running nvidia gtx 1070 with all current drivers
Inculpatus cedo.9234
Are you using any command line arguments, such as -fps, -prefreset? Just throwing out some possibilities. If you continue to have issue, you can contact the Tech CS Team via the 'Support' link above/below and 'Submit a Ticket' for assistance. Good luck. Inculpatus cedo.9234
For other settings getting turned off each time the game is started, it's been successful to change other Option settings, for instance, Shadows low to high and back, or some such. You could give it a try. Good luck.
Deepcuts.9740
Same here, but I cannot disable via in game settings. The solution: Navigate to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2\ Inside you will find a file named: GFXSettings.Gw2-64.exe.xml Open it with a text editor and search for "verticalSync" and set VALUE to **true** for Enabled and **false** for Disabled Save the file and enjoy until Anet fixes this. TheQuickFox.3826
Also, check your nVidia control panel if it is not set to force VSync off for Guild Wars 2 or for all 3D applications. Leave it to "Let the 3D application decide".
