mtpelion.4562 Posted February 6, 2018 Share Posted February 6, 2018 Runes use a "set" system, so you need more of them to unlock the higher level bonuses (meaning you generally want to have 6 of the same Rune, 1 for each piece of armor). The armor itself though does not use any kind of set system, so you can mix and match level, rarity, stats, or skins to your heart's content.
