Agreed, stack wars _already have_ commenced for alliances.

Anet would be wise to keep the alliance sizes quite small for matchmaking, but I'm of the opinion they're aware of this after trying to make server links balance out.

 

One thing that will surely need avoiding is people's desire to replace the old BG with another.

I just don't want to be seperated from my friend. I can't afford to go to her server nor she mine but we're lucky that our servers are aligned. I also don't want to be the server that gets stomped on so much that it ruins the wvw experience.

It might be carnage for a while.

And it might be full of issues to begin with.

But I say, blow it up and see what happens. It's possibly a final throw of the dice for WvW, but it could breath fresh life into it.
