I tried doing this as suggested in other posts: If you are still having problems, try adding this to your GW2 Shortcut Target: -assetsrv 62.154.232.187:80 If that doesn’t work, try -assetsrv 151.249.90.138:80 You can do this by right clicking on your GW2 Shortcut and adding the above text to your Target field. For example your target should look like this: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -assetsrv 62.154.232.187:80 But doesn't seem to do anything (when i tried the download doesn't even start giving connection error) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

To find some yourself, open a command prompt (cmd.exe) and enter: nslookup assetcdn.101.arenanetworks.com 8.8.8.8 Alternatively, the primary server is: origincdn.101.arenanetworks.com -assetsrv 54.85.84.105 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You'll have to enter your username and password again but none of what has been already downloaded will be lost. Tried all 3 servers recommended by the Google DNS (8.8.8.8) and they were all super slow.
