Put those naked mesmers any other gameplay and they will die faster then you can type this irrelevant post up. You really missed the point OP was trying to get across XD
BlackBeard.2873
This only shows a few things: - Armor does jack squat for most burst builds, as they are either going to be 1-shot or not. All of their survival is hard mitigation, soft mitigation with today's power-crept dps does pretty much nothing. - Mesmer OP b/c enough hard mitigation that they don't even care about passive damage reduction (armor, prot, etc). - Playing naked clearly gives you +15% more damage. Trevor Boyer.6524
Here is how damage and armor worn in spvp works in Guild Wars 2: 1. Damage done = (Weapon strength) * Power * (skill-specific coefficient) / (target's Armor) - LInk: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Damage 2. Wearing armor in pvp: "Players need to equip chest, legs and foot armor to achieve the base armor value, but hands, shoulders and head may be ignored." - Link: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Structured_PvP Read under where it says Gear & Builds. Total damage received is divided by the armor value on the character. Now that's some useful damage mitigation.
