New Current Event in Dredgehaunt? Or Bug?

There are musical notes and dredge gong sounds in dredgehaunt now. A guildie spotted them, I attached the screenshot to this post.

Is this the start of a new current event or a bug?

May be related to the recent issue of impact effects with no visible source showing up on hillsides, walls, etc. Put on your protective gear, things are getting messy.....

Could be...like the special effects in WvW that had mini explosions in the wall.

Those are a visual glitch, as far as I know. They've been showing up in the Mistriven Gorge area of Lornar's Pass for years, leftover from Dredge events. You can see they show up when fighting the Dredge that bang on their shields and make the gong sounds.

I did hear gong sounds and it was in Lonar Pass, thank you for the info :D
