[Suggestion] True Free Cam

I would love to see a true free cam available in Guild Wars 2. What this means is we can unlock the camera from behind our character, and move the camera around freely to see the environment or to get closer look at our own character or other characters. Great for screenshots, machinima and video! And also giving a stronger sense of freedom to players.

That's something I would really love to see implemented into GW2. I enjoy taking screenshots, and the currently available camera options are a bit limiting. What bugs me the most is that we can't freely modify vertical position of camera while it's zoomed to first person - we can only chose to adjust the camera's height to character or not.

Yes I hope if we get a true free cam, it will be controlled with the mouse and you can freely roam it around the area.

Unlikley to be implemented as it will allow you to see things in the game that your char cannot see due to the inability to get there because of obstruction.

Also requires that every object in the game can be fully rendered from any angle, including from directions that are normally not possible.
