Well, what would make more sense:

1) Automatic syringe launcher (rifle) used together with mechanic gadgets

or

2) Medieval bow shooting massive syringes and used together with mechanical gadgets

?

You impressively managed to create an e-spec that does the total opposite of what a necromancer do... There is not even the sligthest hint of a necromancer in this one, truly really impressive. After reading it, I even wonder why it's been posted in the necromancer subforum, it's obviously an engineer e-spec concept.

And now you get why mad scientist's archetype is between an engineer and a necromancer. Frankenstein create a living undead but who he was: a scientists or a necromancer, or both? Because creating undeads is purely for necromancers, right?

You're correct, this wouldn't be appropriate for this forum unless we were all complaining about how under powered we all are and have been in desperate need of Meta status.

Isn't the role of the engineer to recreate magical phenomenom throught science, or to put it simply to find a rational way throught the use of technology to mimick what magical profession irrationnaly do with magic.

In the gw2's lore, if one think about mixing necromancy and technology, one have to look at the work of Oola.

> _Before her death, it seems that Oola was able to finally combine the secrets of golemancy and necromancy, creating a line of golems that could tap into the power of life and death. In a bid to increase her power and control, she tied her very essence to the core of her golem, the OOL-99L. With her death, her ghost continues her work, in the Old Oola Lab._

Even so, it's work clearly combine golem to necromancy which would most likely lead one to create a new vessel in which you can insert life force or a spirit instead of using mere gadgets and experiments to do some things unrelated to a necromancer's business like spreading boons or gain movement abilities throught technology.

Well, we do not complain about not being meta outside of PvE (because necromancer have always been meta in WvW and is meta due to boon corrupt in PvP since HoT and scepter auto change) where this spec wouldn't change anything for the necromancer anyway.

Well then, this could fit either engineer focused on recreating necromancy through science or a necromancer who tries to combine dark magic with technology. So, it could fit both necromancer and engineer. It might fit engineer a bit more because of support aspects, but you can't completely eliminate the necromancy part.

I've read all of it 2-3 time but I fail to find any necromancy part...

The only thing that could be a "necromancy part" is there:

> ... bringing dead back to life...

And even that hardly fit gw2, because down is not a state of "death" since a downed player can still somehow act on his own.
