Baba Booey.5760 Posted April 8, 2018 Share Posted April 8, 2018 I just downloaded the 64-bit windows installer, open it up, and it downloads fine until 26% and then it just stops there. No error message, just says "26%" and that's it. I remember experiencing issues installing a few years ago as well, seriously WTF is up with this game? Any fix? Healix.5819 Posted April 8, 2018 Share Posted April 8, 2018 A VPN is generally required to fix this. TunnelBear is a popular choice, while supports recommends proXPN. This problem is caused by something interfering with what GW2 is downloading. You can try a different patch server, but generally it doesn't help. Start by deleting %appdata%/Guild Wars 2/Local.dat, then launch the game using: -assetsrv 52.203.64.235 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
