help with Glyph

Can someone tell me if removing one glyph of improvement to put another, the initial disappears or they return it to the inventory? clicking "remove improvement" that glyph returns to the inventory or is removed completely??

 

I want to change Glyph of the Unbound by Glyph of the Leatherworker, I can go back to the first when I want?

A removed glyph goes to your inventory. It is a physical object, as opposed to something in your wardrobe.

If you choose "remove", it is placed in your inventory. Source: Tried it yesterday to put that leather-thingy onto my axe instead of my sickle.

Just be sure the item you're using is 'upgraded' at the proper place. Otherwise, it will appear that the glyph replace will disappear. Once it's updated, if needed, that glyph will reappear in your inventory.
