  1. There are different kinds of abuse. If the signs are unlimited, imagine a hundred of them blocking your view of whatever you are looking for.
  2. It sounds like a nice idea, but I'm afraid people (aka trolls) would use it inappropriately, like the box o fun on top of a chest or npc. And if you were downed would you rather have the person that stops at your corpse rez you or stick a sign in you?
  3. Have you looked for some external/Windows program that emulates this (whatever "this" is)?
  4. Is this a PvP thing? Cuz I don't understand... :anguished:
  5. Perhaps they have successfully identified everything now? ;) Is this needed for an achievement or something?
  6. @OP Like others who have responded, the description of your idea is very confusing. How/why is this linked to Fractals at all? Is it a "team (1-5)" [sounds like instanced?] or "public (meeting other players)" [sounds open-world?], both are mentioned. One player can do it, yet teamwork, taking days to accomplish it, and fighting beefed-up world bosses are all mentioned. And, amazingly enough, requires very little work for Anet to implement!
  7. As a seller of Mystic Coins, I see no problem. Sounds more to me like, "I don't want to pay 2g for a mystic coin." Do 3 dailies, buy a coin. That's 1/day with very little effort. With the 28-day login cycle, that is 48 coins. How many do you need?

I believe you can unlock it without completing the mission entirely. Apparently, you do have to participate in the "save the village" portion (no further details due to spoilers), but that is a non-combat activity so safe for low-level characters. At least my brother, who was playing a level 80, did not get the raptor unlocked and I assume because the rest of us finished that stuff off too quickly and he didn't get enough participation.
  9. If you have maxed your crafting disciplines and then choose another, one will be unavailable until you reactivate it. Could that be the issue?

  11. I think this is pointless. A fraction of the game's population will see this and then just because they vote yes means nothing. EoD will sell on its own merits.
  12. How about everyone glows like the sun? Oh, wait... You do realize Anet hasn't done an April Fools since the great airplane scandal of '15, right? You are better off speculating what the humorous (and sometimes painful) patch notes will be.
  13. Passkey? Are you referring to the Lounge Passes?

Unless I am missing something, The Armory won't help with this. It is only a place to store/share/equip legendary equipment. As far as I know, there is no news of actual new legendary items associated with it. Again, may have missed something, please educate me if I have. I have a number of legendary weapons and the Gifts to make two more, but am not in need of any right now, so am holding off. Otherwise, I'd probably add axe and sword.
  15. How do I know? Because before they split the skills PvP/WvW/PvE, that's exactly what they did.
  16. Yay! Glad you figured it out. I am embarrassed to say a while back I was getting a random "V" when hitting "Space." Turns out there was a little wedge of chocolate stuck between them. A hazard of working from home during the pandemic!
  17. As a PvE player, I don't want the entire game balanced around the competitive modes. Thus it is preferable to split the skills and balance independently.

But c'mon ANet, I can't be the only one who's be willing to pay to bling out my engineer in a sweet leather jacket, or groovy light blazer, or radical tactical shirt, or dapper tie & shirt combo. More like 400-800 per piece, I'd guess, rather than a set for that amount. Just judging by recent offerings. But I'd be okay with that, for good coat options.
  19. I always assumed engineer was originally planned to have high health, but by the time Anet finished designing them decided they would be OP.
  20. Did you receive mail and unload the node? Double-click it to activate it?

  22. Why do we have to pick one? Why not do it all? Plus fishing, housing, Alliances, Armory, more bank slots...there's a long list of improvements or features the community has been asking for. Might as well please some by implementing them. *shrug*
  23. Are there not already incentives to play PvE and WvW and PvP? Don't they all offer something unique? Legendary armor, for sure, but other skins you can only obtain from those modes? Personally, as someone who only dabbles in WvW, I'm jealous of the reward tracks offered to WvW'ers and PvP'ers. But I only treat WvW as PvE and avoid fighting other players when possible. That's my preferred game mode.
