Is Season 2 worth buying now?

Planning on buying some gems (if I can find any gem cards anywhere), and I was trying to decide on what would be the best things to buy.

 

Was only able to come up with these 4 things on my own, seasons 2/3, copper salvage and a bank expander. But I don’t know if it’s worth doing s2 now that POF is out, and maybe 1300 gems could be better used elsewhere

 

S2 - 1280 (1280)

S3 - 2,240 (960)

Salvage - 3,040 (1000)

Its simple really, if you have any interest in the story or if you like achievement hunting then yes its worth it.

Note that you do get ascended trinkets for doing the story too, and armor skins, so if that's something that you enjoy or feel will help you in the future then that's probably a good thing to do. The copper salvage kit has been useful to me since I got it, but making mystic salvage kits was just as good and not as expensive as constantly buying the 25 use kits, if I recall that correctly.

I'm not saying it's worth buying now. But, as it is on sale, I say just buy it, because you will still buy it in the future anyway, so why not get it while it's on sale?

 

Doing story also makes it easier to get masteries, which you will need for making legendary items and such.
