Soulbound Gathering Tools

I have the Molten Alliance Mining Pick, the Consortium Harvesting Sickle, and the Chop-it-All Logging Axe. Until this update, I hadn't noticed that they were soulbound. They don't have a glyph slot, and I haven't been able to find anywhere to trade them for account bound tools. I don't mind about the slot, but it would be nice to use these tools on other characters as I upgrade my main character to glyphed tools.

 

Is there a way to trade these tools for account bound and/or tools with glyph slots? I've searched the forums and the wiki, but haven't been able to find the info. What am I missing (if anything), and why are they soulbound to begin with?

Soul bound tools can be exchanged for account bound tools. Speak to a Black Lion Weapons Specialist.

The account bound versions will also have a glyph slot, so you can put glyphs into your existing tools instead of buying new ones for your main character.
