They also cannot be killed by conventional means. But it also looks like not all liches are undead: > Of encountered liches, only Palawa Joko still remains "alive". Like, as far as I know, Necromancers are slowly developing their skills with caution. Joko throws all this caution away to quickly gain power by taking risks. So he became immensely powerful and hence, became a Lich. Though that leaves the question of Livia still open. She is a Necromancer who lived for... let's just say a really long time. If she lived this long while practicing her craft (which should be easier as well, since she possesses a certain artifact), she should be on the level of a Lich.
