ethanzephyr.7298
For elaboration, some of us may not remember stories the way they were told, or may interpret them incorrectly. If a revenant were to recall a Glint who was green, a Shiro who was actually a girl, or even a Jalis who never underwent the Rite of the Great Dwarf and instead remained flesh, would this reflect in the invocation? Or would the revenant always be able to find out the truth by invoking?
foozlesprite.8051
That is a really interesting question. And it raises another one for me: people forget so much about their own lives, even some pretty major things. Having lived such storied lives and been wandering the Mists since, how much do they know about themselves and how accurately? Do we need to take them with a grain of salt? Shiro, for example, was heavily influenced by Abaddon. Does he remember everything through an Abaddon-colored lens, or might he realize that some of the things he did were irrational and pointlessly destructive, now that he's been free of said influence for a while? Or a mixture? Now I'm really interested in the possibilities here, thank you for asking this question.
