chars stuck in LA, instant lag spike to disconnect entering EBG

as the title states, my chars are stuck in LA the game wont loads just stuck on LA loading screen, chars in other areas are fine, i only wvw entering all other BL's are fine but not EBG upon entering it lags out and disconnects me. help

I've read in other threads that sometimes, when this problems happen, it can help to temporarily lower your graphic settings.

after much swapping of chars, i can't be in ebg at all yet the bls are fine....

Each map is on a different IP. Although they're in the same location, how you travel across the net may vary by IP. Either you're not being routed the same, or something is interfering with your connection to those IPs. For LA, there's generally a lot of instances, so you can try guesting to a different server to get onto a different IP (use -maploadinfo to see the details on the loading screen). For everything else, use a VPN.

thats great and all but i've got guildies who are having the same problem, i had 5 people who were stuck last night bringing my raid down to 15 for wvw and others in teamchat/squadchat mentioning it too, nothings being fixed....
