Can we have spiteful spirit changed?

I know that this is really old, and that im a bit late since we just had a balance patch, but would it maybe be possible to finally make spiteful spirit a "only in combat" trait? (same with weakening shroud)

I really like those traits on my core necro and reaper, but constantly getting in combat with random mobs is really anoying, especially in wvw, and there are a lot of similar traits that dont proc unless youre in combat, and i dont really see a reason why it would be good to make them trigger even when youre not fighting.

Better question if you are not fighting why are you activating shroud which triggers these traits to go off.

 

If you dont want to be in combat just dont activate shroud.

Indeed why would anyone enter shroud while out of combat? Wasting life force?

He may be shroud flashing for swiftness off Speed of Shadows. You can avoid hitting anything by jumping at the same moment you enter shroud; stops spiteful spirit and enfeeble from casting.

It is not terribly difficult to draw aggro from a wandering mob while in a skirmish but all professions have this happen depending on build. It is mostly random bad luck to balance the auto-proc'ing AoE's benefits.
