A little bit about myself, I suppose, would be helpful. I am a 31 gamer from Denver, Colorado. In my youth, I group on the likes of Bahamut Lagoon, Lufia, Contra, and the original (and really the game that jump started my love of gaming) Legend of Zelda. The original Guild Wars was my first MMO, where I played for about seven years before moving over to Guild Wars 2 at beta. Since then, I've met a lot of great people, had a lot of good friends move on from the game, looted a lot of monsters, and cursed at plenty of jumping puzzles. For the past year or so, I have largely played alone, doing Arah solos and wandering the open world aimlessly. It took a while for me to move on from my old, broken guilds. Now, though, I want to come back to being part of a community. On the none digital side of things, I manage analytics in the telecom industry, moonlight as an Ultimate Frisbee coach, and occasionally do private lessons for public speaking.

 

Here is what you can expect from me as a person and a player:

 

* A veteran of the Guild Wars 2 universe with about 13k hours of playtime

* Someone who doesn't take himself too seriously

* Working mic and access to any VoIP

* Lots of experience speed running dungeons (a throwback, I know) and moderate experience with T4 Fractals

* Someone who genuinely loves helping people achieve their goals

* Sarcasm & Snark

 

What I am looking for in a guild:

 

* A healthy, active player base

* A guild that plays together often

* A group of people that respect each other

about us: we joke around and just chill a lot during the day at work. yup Discord explode everywhere.

due to recent outbreak, we don't have a lot of vet players anymore. but we're moving on and fixing to groom our new/returning players

we try to group up as much as we can and have fun. that's the most important part.

Hiya, Forsaken! First of all.... Denver omg! One of my favorite places to visit! And I totally understand it taking a while to get over guilds that break up and go inactive. I've been through the same, and it's rough.

 

I'm part of the Remnants of Hope [HOPE] guild and I really think we could be a great fit for you, and you could be a great fit for us! We have very active forums, teamspeak and group events almost every day of the week, including boss trains, WvW, raids, dungeons, fractals... pretty much anything you could want to do in-game, we have people who do it and would welcome you! And the overall attitude in our community is fantastic. They're patient, fun, and knowledgeable (but have an awesomely sassy sense of humor). It sounds like you'd get along really well!
