Boon Corrupt Support Wells [WvW]

Running easy to apply aoe boon corruption on mostly celestial gear with leadership runes to push condition conversion. Utilizes Axe/Focus and Great Sword.

Ye olde wells backline base necro build has been doing this since 2014, it kind of passed out of meta but I still play it because it's what I have gear for and it does fine

With some simple changes you are basically playing the meta shout reaper.

 

Weapons -> celestial stats

Stacking sigil -> Corruption sigil

Food -> Condi food

Well of Power -> Suffer

Ya and runes reaper > leadership

curse>blood line

staff > gs

offhand dagger > focus

3 of 4 sigils different

 

But other than that ya they totally the same...lol

I came from a shout reaper. That build nor this build is anything like that garbage posted on metabattle.

Take MetaBattle with a grain of salt. The Shout Reaper build only has 3 ratings, and only one is from June (which I will just assume is post patch). They are good as a baseline so that you don't try to start out on your own, but always look at what you want to accomplish instead of the meta. Or run what your guild leader tells you to.
