Jackall makes game crash ?

Recommended Posts

By portal jumps do you mean entering a portal or the movement ability of the jackal?

If entering sand portals, why 5 in a row?

If teleporting, you should be only able to do 3, maybe 4 if you space it out (which won't be that continuous).

Anyway, never experienced a crash when running around with jackal, and i use jackal as my "regular" mount.

It could be related to an error in a game file. You may want to run a "repair" on your game to see if it discovers any issues that it will then automatically fix.

* Make a copy of your GW2 game shortcut and name it "GW2 - Repair" or something so you know it is only for running a repair on your game (CTRL+drag the icon and release is one way to copy it, or right-click > copy, right-click > paste to make copy of it)

* Right-click the shortcut and click 'Properties'

* On the 'Shortcut' tab that it displays in a popup properties window, in the first "Target" line click in its field and go to the end of the location in it

* After the " at the end, hit the spacebar once to put a space and then type -repair

Should look like this at the end: "C:\blahblahlocationblah\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe" -repair

* Hit OK to save this and close the Properties window

* Execute this shortcut to run a Repair on the game files

It may take a little bit of time to run and it may appear to freeze or show 'Not Responding', this is normal. Just let it run and when it finishes just load your game normally and see if it fixed the issue.
