Returning player after a few years! Ranger needing to know how to train Soulbeast

Hello, I love the ranger class. I would love to make a soul beast, but how to you train elite specifications. I used my boost for ordering the expansion to get my character to lvl 80. Any help would be appreciated.

Complete Hero Point challenges to spend on the trait line. These can be obtained pretty quickly (10 at a time) in HoT/Maguuma and PoF/Elona maps.

 

You unlock the ability to slot it with 30 points and the ability to merge with pet after another 10.

Have to get Hero Points, either from playing PvE or can get them through WvW currency exchange IIRC

If you have PoF, I recommend doing the hero challenges there since they give 10 skill points each. The hero points in core Tyria only give one point. In HoT you get 10 points as well, but the hero challenges are harder and sometimes even require a group.

Also, keep in mind that when you select the Soulbeast elite specialization track it has to be in the bottom row of your specializations.

I bought both when I returned as a player since my archer was only like lvl 15. Got him up to 80 now with the boost. I have one more boost left.
