Add option to hide other player/pet/minion names

It is a pain in the behind to do Palawadan, when you can't see ANY of the Supply Stashes because they are covered under tons of names (even with "Show All Player Names" unchecked).

 

It is enough to be able to see the Commander tag, what do I need to see all those names for? Why is there no option to deselect ALL other player names (along with their pets and minions)?

 

It is blocking your view and you have to waste time to come back and loot _afterwards_ instead of "on the fly". You also barely spot the enemy when the whole mob is at them (along with that overload of skill effects blinding you).

I rarely have that issue. Do you have "Show All Usable Object Names" toggled on? That and having my Character Model Limit set to Low or Lowest makes it so I pretty much never miss seeing a usable object/chest/item. That being said, I wouldn't mind having an option to turn off minion/pet name plates, either.

Of course. Doesn't help the issue when you have a squad of 50 people (plus randoms) doing the event.

You can not even turn off pet names for your own pet, never mind other people, I 100% agree that we should be able to hide all pet names.

I like the idea. The more options we have to hide visual clutter - the better.
