Design-a-weapon contest winners......not in game ?

It's been over 8 months since the design-a-weapon contest ended, with 3 winners supposed to have their design inspire in game weapons. However, I have not seen in game anything remotely close to those designs yet. Did I miss something ?

No, nothing other than that 8 months isn't all that long a time. In the far simpler context of GW1, the [2007 Design a Weapon Contest](https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Design-a-Weapon_(2007)) was held in Spring 2007. Its weapons were added in Spring of 2008.

 

Maybe ANet is waiting to release them as part of the next (as-yet, unannounced) expansion. Maybe they'll be released one at-a-time after the last of the Gen 2 Legendaries is made available. Maybe they aren't ready for prime time.

I think it was a Torch weapon? Cant really remember..?
