lLobo.7960
With the LS maps we get more and more new currencies for each map that can be only used in that map, while getting bags that will drop any and all of the T5-6 materials and salvage loot. Meanwhile a lot of people complain about replayability of maps. How would improving the division of T5-6 material rewards (among metas, drops and heart vendors) improve the replayability of each map? Right now, as the only difference in aquiring mats/gold is only the ammount of loot you can get on a map, it seems that the best way to get something is just to go and farm the most profitable map. What if each material would drop more from an event or a map. Lake Doric has the leather farm spot. What if the aweakened in Kourna had higher drop-rate of bones, while crazed creatures of bloodstone fen drop more corrupted blood. Dinossaurs in draconis mons higher drop of claws, etc. Same for the events and heart vendors. Just like you can repeat hearts to get map currency, you could spend some map currency on each heart vendor to get specific T5-T6 mats from that area (maybe with a daily limit). This would give players a better idea to where to go to farm materials, and (maybe) make the economy balance easier, as droprates of materials that are in more demand can be changed independently and the movement of the economy (or your own needs for crafting) would make farming a map better than the other. I think it would be nice to have a better idea of where to go for materials and a better reason to go to one map or the other besides just best profit or a currency only used for some occasional legendary.
