Rollerbeetle smash through traps

I really like the rollerbeetle, however I feel the "Barrier Smash" ability is kinda wasted since it's only use is for the new Kourna map and maybe upcoming ls 4 maps. When I cruised with my beetle through the desolation and was promptly dismounted by a trap it struck me: what if we could use the barrier smash ability to smash through traps? Obviously the beetle would have to be fast enough to fulfill barrier smash's condition.
