Inherent skill prioritization problems.

It has been known for a few months now that scourge 10 man barrier prioritizes minions/clones of the current subgroup above the players in the other subgroup and that firebrand mantras tend to prioritize players in the other subgroup if they are closer. This makes these skills unreliable and thus the elite specs undesirable for raid content support. It is like a druid not being able to heal a specific person or a chronomancer not being able to buff a specific person.

 

There have been many player theorys on why this can not be fixed easily as it has not been adressed in previous balance patches.

 

These are fundemental problems that are killing the little momentum that alternative comps are getting against the standard druid/chrono comp.

 

Are there fundemental programming issues in regards to the skill prioritization system when you have a skill with a radius and a arc and if a buff can apply to 10 targets that can also effect pets/clones/minions?

 

Is the reason that these issues are not being fixed that the skill prioritization as a whole would need a rework on a fundemental level?

 

Can you alaborate on what is causing this issues and if we can expect a fix in the near future?
