Is the Mastery Rank bugged?

 

Every time I now collect a new mastery point, my rank stays the same.. 266

My Mastery Rank according to GW2 Efficiency reading my API /progression shows rank at 330?

 

Am I missing something or is the rank not collecting/showing the correct rank points?

Mastery rank never depended on obtaining points, so it works exactly as it always did. It depends on spending points. When you train something the next time, it will go up again.

Right.. so if there is nothing left to spend them on, they just accumulate but do not increase your rank until you have something new to spend them on.. weird but ok thanks.

The current maximum rank is 274, so I assume that you don't have the 8 HoT mastery spent on the Raid track. It sounds like that's the only thing left for you to pursue in-game, if interested.

 

The relatively easy and somewhat abundant PoF mastery points makes me believe that we'll have some more outlets for them with the next LS chapters. I expect it will be more like the Crystal Champion line, not another mount (until Episode 6?...).

Yep, having been a raid leader for almost 10 years in another mmo… kinda burnt me out .. gw2 for me is a quiet life without raiding for the time being :)
