Will either of these sytem run GW2 well.

This Laptop is the Clevo P750DM2-G =700 used

Specs:

- Full DESKTOP PERFORMANCE 1060 GTX graphics card

- I7-6700k Quad-core DESKTOP PERFORMANCE CPU

The other option it to buy a Thinkcentre m93 and instal a psu and new gpu =450 used

Will either of these run the game well? Which one would you choose?

That laptop HDD will mean that map load times on the first one will be painful if you don't put the game on the SSD, but it will run GW2 reasonably well. It won't be the best of the best, and I'd be reluctant to turn the graphics all the way up on it, but apart from that, it's far from the worst you could buy. Don't use it with a 4K screen, though.

 

The other one may well be a bit sluggish - the DDR3 memory will be a bit slow which will affect frame rates - and you're likely to have long load times because the disks are probably not the newest of the newest, *and* they aren't SSDs.

 

If I had to choose one of those two without reference to budget, I'd go for the first one.

 

For reference, until January 2018 I used a 2.8GHz i5-750 (four single-thread cores) with 8GB of DDR3 and an NVidia GT430. The game was playable at 1080p but only on about medium graphics, with shadows and reflections having to be *off*, especially in the Black Citadel.
