Question regarding antagonist

I don’t know if it’s appropriate to ask this here but I‘ll give it a try.

 

*I was wondering if we always going to deal with those giant forces like Elder Dragons and Gods?*

 

While it’s for sure cool to kill those on your own (even if it’s sometimes breaking the immersion a little) I think it would be cool if our main protagonist (in the new expansion or LWS5) could be more of a *humanoid*.

I just thought about opponents like Scarlett or GW1 antagonists like _Shiro_ or _Varesh_.

I absolutely loved how strong they were (even though they were human) and how to some extent relateable they were.

 

Of course we need to kill all Elder Dragons because the lore says so, but it doesn’t say when to do so.

I mean most of them aren’t even a threat yet, so in the meantime we maybe could get other antagonists.

I for example liked how Joko was a threat (but more of a non main threat) and yes I would love to see someone like him become the main threat again.
