Effects and motion sickness

I made a post on [reddit](

"reddit") about this, but i figured i post it here too.

 

Can we get a way to turn off some of the new wavy effects that seem to be used everywhere in the new map.

 

Especially passing through them i get really motion sick. Some events and fights even happens right at the border of these wavy effects. I feel nauseous.

I feel the same way. A large group of branded happened to spawn right on the edge of one of these barriers and it disoriented me to no end as well.

 

Solution is to simple not stay in there, you never have to. Take a ranged weapon if need be, you can definitely avoid those areas

That's not a solution, that's a workaround. I also mostly play melee, not that i refuse to play ranged, but melee is the way i do most damage. And i want to make sure events succeed by doing as much damage as i can.

 

The thing is, just passing through these things makes me very nauseous and it lasts for quite some time. So just moving out of the area doesn't really help.

The water in **Ember Bay**, too. I need to turn off **Postprocessing** completely, so it doesn’t have this „wavy“ effect—loosing all other benefits, too, of course. :angry:

I don’t even understad, why they added it. Underwater never had and never needs this „wavy“ effect.

I don't even have post prosessing on, so i can't even disable that to make it better.
