(User Interface) Damage floater user interface inconsistencies on multi-hit attacks.

Let's compare a few skills.

 

(A)

Engineer: Throw grenades

Warrior: Hundred blades / Whirling axe

 

(B)

Elementalist: Meteor Shower

Guardian: Procession of Blades

 

Why are the damage floaters for the (A) skills shown additively per hit on the user interface, but the damage floaters for the (B) skills are shown separately on a per hit basis? This bothered me from the start of the game and I wish there was a way to display all skill damage on a per-hit basis instead of some skills arbitrarily showing added damage.

 

Suggestion: Give us an option to show the damage floaters on a per hit basis.

It depends on the time between the hits. If you time it right you can let multiple damage sources add up like that, but you have to hit them at the same time. It's hardly rocket science or even relevant so I don't think it should be changed.

 

Just test for yourself the time between a Hundred Blades hit and a Meteor Shower. Meteor Shower is slow and unless cast on a wall the meteors themselves are too slow anyway.
