Well shoot, I had 100% confusion duration when the expansion hit, so I could have tested this, but I didn't even think about this possibility when I saw this trait, and swapped my perplexity runes out for general condition duration, knocking me down to about 80% confusion duration so that I could have higher durations for torment and bleeding.

 

But I think you may be right, there's only one trait in the game that works that way, the necromancers Lingering Curse, and it is worded exactly the same way.

Okay tested it, it doesn't. Used regular condi build that caps Confusion because of Illusions, and it's same 6 seconds of Confusion with Cry of Frustration with or without Dune Cloak.

Yeah, I tested this in the demo and it respected the regular cap. Worth double checking after release though.
