You know that is a good idea. Have life-force replace your weapon skills, and allow you to use utilities still.

 

Maybe make any skill that would give life-force give that amount of HP instead, so the time you can camp in it remains largely the same. And make your heal skill give you life-force instead of health, at a 50% reduced amount? You could use your heal skill in shroud, or you could save it in-case you get knocked out of shroud. You could use your spectral armour to get more HP if you went into shroud to avoid dying, or you could use it after to get another boost of shroud when your current runs out.

Your CPC is a nerf: It currently offers necro a decently long-lasting AoE projectile hate ability.

Your Epidemic is a nerf: It currently gives necro something that no other class possesses, as well as is useful for "cleaving". Very useful, in-fact.

Your Deathly Swarm is a nerf: It currently gives none-staff necros a reliable way to transfer conditions and cleanse.

Your Greatsword basically destroys any functionality the weapon had for condi builds.

Well of Darkness is a nerf. Blind can serve to deliver Chill as well with a trait and is very useful. Barrier, on the other hand, isn't.

Putrid Curse not delivering poison is bad. Less condi variety.

Both Feast of Corrupting and Grasping hands are massive nerfs.

Harrowing Wave is a nerf.

Reaper's Touch is a nerf.

The minion and signet skills are good.

The spectral ideas are good, minus spectral grasp losing its chill. Not worth.

Chilled To the Bone. . .isn't a stun anymore? RiP?

Spectral Scythe doesn't have anymore condi application, as reaper's shroud does? No chill field, no poison on 5 and 4 respectively?

 

Are you sure you don't work at anet? You started off with a good idea with shroud (the best shroud idea yet imo), then proceeded to nerf the crap out of necromancer while buffing a few select but key areas well enough to make it APPEAR to be a buff while stealthily demolishing critical parts of the class.
