One of my accounts has fallen foul of a mysterious email authentification turn on (it was off) and I can't access the email which I need for the authentification. I wish I could change the account name... Anyway I was wondering if I am likely to get this solved before the festival ends. Any thoughts? Thanks! If by this you mean "robertfordaol.1589", the answer will be "No". I guarantee it. ArenaNet staff have said on multiple occasions that although they will change it if it violates name policy, they won't change it on *user* request because it can break some parts of the account, especially "social" things like (this is not a definitive list): * Being in a guild. * Using guild chat. * /w whispering other players, in either direction. * Using the Trading Post. * Using LFG. If you mean the email address you use to log in, yes, that can be changed, but requires the intervention of the support staff, as far as I know.
