Usually, for each release, we get an AMA on Reddit.

 

We haven't seen one for PoF yet and they usually make players feel more connected to the developers.

They should do any AMA if there are some in the future again now HERE in rtheor official new forums, thats my opinion, otherwiase woudl be the new forum a waste of tiem and effort, if they still continue to neglect their own forums and stillprefer to do things like AMAs, discussions ect. pp on other unofficial third party sites , than on their own self made official forum, that they finalyl have upgraded into a more modern, better working forum of higher standards, than this crap with that we had to plague us around with the last 5 years

AMAs are just better suited to the tree system of Reddit, tbh.

 

That way they can respond to a particular question and have it displayed underneath that question.

 

Also, players can upvote the questions they want answered most.

AMAs are great, but they do not come close to making all players feel more connected, if for no other reason than only a tiny fraction of us visit Reddit.

 

I suspect that ANet decided to wait a few weeks, until we had uncovered major spoilers, unlocked certain features, and had a chance to absorb all that is new|changed|evolved. And, if you participated in any of the previous post-update AMAs, you'll know that this has been a huge fan request each time.
