Harrierbrand and build diversity, gone

I'm posting about the upcoming nerf to RI to which will cripple(if not destroy) build diversity for the Guardian profession in spvp. This nerf was unwarranted as a whole. You'll now only see Pure-support FB's in spvp....well done.

Last patch killed hammer and shatter aegis.

 

Harrier FB is dead this patch.

 

GS core is probably the last hold out for PvP dps builds, but took a huge nerf to its power.

 

But LB 2 now gained 300 range. That’s it boys we all run DH now ?

Nah, this nerf will kill GS core too. I've consistently been plat with core GS guard and it was always a tight balancing act to deal with most other dps classes. You had a small leg up on wars, but holos had a leg up on you. While you technically counter mirage, no one really counters a good mirage. I'd like to say i'm positive in mirage duels, but i'm not even positive on that. With this nerf, you don't have the the damage to take advantage of distort/dodge/evade/block/stun/daze windows.

change harrirer to avatar and change rune to altruism , small healing loss but damage stays the same. also you will lose the 25% speed bonus.

regarding core guard you can change to marauders amulet still will reach 100% crit chance, but now u cant play so reckless
